Have the right attitude. Enthusiasm can make things 1100 % better.

To activate others, to get them enthusiastic, you must first activate yourself and be enthusiastic.

When our attitude is right, our abilities reach a maximum of effectiveness and good results inevitably follow.

Grow these three attitudes. Make them your allies in everything you do.

1. Grow the attitude of I’m activated.

2. Grow the attitude of You are important.

3. Grow the attitude of Service first.

Birds of a feather do flock together.

Be sure you’re in the flock that thinks right.

Don’t let negative thinkers pull you down to their level. Let them slide by, like the water from the proverbial duck’s back.

Cling to people who think progressively. Move upward with them.

You can do it, simply by thinking right. Be careful about your source of advice.

“Clarity is Power.” Meditate to get more clarity and a broader long term perspective. Meditation is not an escape from reality. It is getting in touch with reality. It is a way of understanding reality and a way of understanding yourself and “your operating system.”

Meditation also helps to have a big picture and broad perspective on life (right brain approach) as well as focus on details (left hemisphere approach).

Having a big picture is very important now, especially in the times when the left brain approach has dominated the western thought and culture we are loosing our peripheral vision.

Life is about discovering yourself and creating yourself. A wise old man was asked what he learned about the meaning of life. Well, he answered, “I have learned that I am here on earth to help others. What I still haven’t figured out is why the other people are here?”

Lesson learnt from Eagle

The only bird that dares to peck an eagle is the Black Drongo. It sits on the eagle’s back and bites its neck. The eagle does not spend time or energy to respond or fight with Drongo.

Rather it just opens wings and begins to fly higher in the sky. The higher the flight, the harder for the Drango to breathe ; eventually it falls due to lack of oxygen.

Like an Eagle you need not to :

  • fight all battles.
  • respond all negative triggers.
  • react to all arguments.
  • respond all critics.
  • answer back all.

Just lift up your standard, they’ll eventually fall off.

Small anecdote, great lesson.

If you try to live your life wrapped up in your stories like most folks do — you don’t have money, you are not good enough, you can’t quit your job, you are lazy; etcetera — and trudging through life with your head down and clinging to your false beliefs, chances are you won’t be able to see the infinite sea of opportunities surrounding you.

Countless, awesome versions of reality surround you, but if you stay set in your ways and committed to your stories about who you are and what your reality looks like, you will end up scratching only the surface of all that’s available to you every moment.

Life is an illusion created by your perception, and you can change it the moment you chose to. Just focus on a new illusion, a new reality.

Never in the history of the Universe was there such a storm or the darkest night after which the Sun did not show up!!!

If you think you are going through a turbulent period for you and/or you think that there is only darkness around, do not fight it. You will waste a lot of energy and you won’t even notice when the sun appears. Accept that hard times have come to your life but do not fight them.

WAITING THROUGH A DIFFICULT PERIOD OF YOUR LIFE IN HIGH SPIRITS IS THE ONLY WISE DECISION.

If you keep calm and mindful, you will surely see some light in a short time. ☄ The light is best seen in the dark. What is more, only a good mood can help you, as bad certainly won’t.

Back your PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) with determination.

A PMA gives you a solid grounding for success but it must be accompanied by determination and motivation.

Rather than blaming all your difficulties on the world, you should set about changing it into a place you want to live in.

When you feel determined to make a difference, your motivation will soar, which will allow you to reach new heights in your life.

Someone who embodied passionate determination and motivation is farmer Milo Jones. Due to a severe illness, Jones became paralyzed. Although his body no longer served him, his head was working overtime and he began figuring out how to accomplish certain tasks in the most effective way. With this motivation, determination and PMA, he managed to convert his little corn farm into an empire that sold Jones’ Little Pork Sausages, which made him a millionaire.

But keep in mind that along with your determination, you’ll also need goals.
It’s best to write your goals down and attach a deadline to them. For example, anyting what you want to achieve by the end of the year.

The higher you set your goals, the more you’ll fight for them and the more you’ll achieve.
If you have a particularly challenging goal, you should break it down into smaller goals that you can achieve in the next week or month to build up to the end goal.

So, for example, if your dream is to learn Spanish, a lofty goal would be speaking it perfectly, which may take years. But when divided into smaller goals, like ordering your first beer successfully or reading a novel in Spanish, these smaller triumphs will help you stay focused and motivated.

What matters most about the past, though, is your attitude toward it.

People who view the past positively – a past-positive time perspective – are more inclined to be happier, healthier and more successful than people who are past-negative.

Surprisingly, past-positive people are still happier even when their positive attitude is based on an inaccurate recollection of events. Psychologists have found that looking at the past through “rose-tinted lenses” is the key to cultivating the gratitude necessary to appreciate life today.

How can you do this? Take some time every day to jot down things you were grateful for. While you can’t change the past, you can change how you feel about it. A bit of re-framing may be enough to change the whole picture, and transform a past negative into past positive.

To close this gap do small things well each day. Your great days will lead you to your great life.

Every time something doesn’t work out, you gain experience; something that will help you in the future. The times you failed, they weren’t wasted. You gained insight and it was all a part of God’s plan. Don’t complain about the trouble. You have big challenges because you have a big destiny. – Joel Osteen

One of the most wonderful things about time is the fact that you cannot waste it in advance.

Your future is spotless. No matter how much time you have squandered in the past, the next hour that comes your way will be perfect, unspoiled and ready for you to make the best use of it. No one is stopping you from rewriting the story of your life. If you so choose, tomorrow can be the day that you start getting up earlier, reading more, exercising, eating well and worrying less. This very moment you can change your story and create a new ending. Remember, it is never too late to become the person you have always wanted to be.

Learning 549

Don’t be so hard on yourself. Don’t dwell on your past mistakes reviewing how things could have been right. Learn from every mistake and see life for what it really is: a path of self discovery, personal growth and lifelong learning.

Learning 547

Acquire skills no one else has. Read books no one else is reading. Think thoughts no one else is thinking. In other words you cannot have all that you want if you remain the same person you are. To get more in life, you need to keep increasing your value to the world.
