Go First Class

That’s the excellent rule to follow in everything you do, including the goods and services you buy.

“But I can’t afford to go first class. ” is often we hear. The simplest answer is: you cannot afford to go on any other way.

Certainly in the long run, going first class actually costs you less than going second class. It’s better to have fewer quality things than to have many things and have junk.

People rate you for quality, often subconsciously. Develop an instinct for quality. It pays. And costs no more, often costs less than the second class.

Birds of a feather do flock together.

Be sure you’re in the flock that thinks right.

Don’t let negative thinkers pull you down to their level. Let them slide by, like the water from the proverbial duck’s back.

Cling to people who think progressively. Move upward with them.

You can do it, simply by thinking right. Be careful about your source of advice.

L 754

Just half hour sitting on a chair, your metabolism slows down disrupting the healthy digestion of fats.

Sitting for over two hours causes good cholesterol levels to drop.

Good news is that getting up for a mere 5 minutes every half hour is sufficient to offset these effects.

Though we all know this but we still need a reminder.

L749

“Age is not the flight of years but the dawn of wisdom.”

Wisdom is the awareness of the tremendous spiritual powers in your subconscious mind and the knowledge of how to apply these powers to lead a full and happy life.

Get it out of your head once and for all that 65, 75 or 85 years of age is synonymous with the end for you or anybody else. It can be the beginning of a glorious, fruitful, active and most productive pattern, better than you have ever experienced. Believe this, expect it, and your subconscious will bring it to pass.

L 728

Things are about to change for you. May the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind right now. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. You’ve been strong long enough, it’s time to start receiving your blessings. You deserve it.

Discover your life’s purpose.

Your life’s journey is different from that of anyone else’s, and ultimately, you want to get to a place where you feel happy, most alive and most like your true self.

So to discover your purpose, detach yourself from you and analyze your unique abilities from the “outside,” make a move when action is required to realize your dreams, do your best wherever you find yourself with the understanding that the “good” and the “bad” experiences on your journey all contribute to your final destination; and build your dream life copying what works for other people.

A lucky start in life means being taught as a child that your life is in your control.

Lucky children are happy children, and you can make your kids luckier by teaching them the principles of life from an early age.

To increase a child’s luck, you should show them the wealth of opportunities available to them, while refraining from forcing them down any particular path.

Dr. Jessica Levenstein, from the Horace Mann School, in New York, believes that children (and, by extension, adults) will be happier if they believe their lives are governed by their own actions, as opposed to by external actors. She explains that parents who refuse to allow their children to be educated by specific teachers – because, say, that teacher has a poor reputation – often stifle their children’s independence and learning.

For instance, the author once wanted to change her son’s teacher, but was encouraged by the school principal to approach the situation with a positive attitude and not get involved. Ultimately, her son and his teacher ended up getting along well and being a great fit for one another.

The author also talks about her own father’s habit of ignoring her report cards, and concerning himself instead with how she felt she had done.

By letting children see the effects of their own efforts, even if those efforts are mistakes, they’re able to learn a lot about themselves and the world.

Another thing you can teach children is that they don’t have to follow conventional paths.

In high school, Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded a tiny data-analysis business that didn’t really succeed but nonetheless went on to form the basis of Microsoft. Gates was amazed that his father, who had spoken with the headmaster, gave him the go-ahead rather than pushing him to focus on his studies. By allowing him to pursue seemingly unimportant adventures, his parents allowed the space to develop the self-belief that would later make him the successful and lucky billionaire we know today.

As you can see, it’s extremely important to build the foundations of success by showing children that they have control over their own decisions.

Luck is more in our control than we think. By following the principles outlined here – that is, combining hard work, talent and chance, and preparing and putting yourself in places where opportunity is likely to strike – you can increase your susceptibility to luck.

Actionable advice:

Steer through life with a compass, not a map.

To find the places where the opportunities to become lucky are high, you need to have a plan. But an overly rigid plan – that is, clearly defined life map – can cause you to miss those important opportunities. So trade out your map for a compass. If you know the general direction you wish to go in, you will be able to adapt if the landscape changes around you. It requires courage and self-confidence, but walking your own path will lead you to opportunities that might just change your luck.

A ‘time consciousness.’ You see, I learned that time slips through our hands like grains of sand, never to return. Those who use time wisely from an early age are rewarded with rich, productive and satisfying lives.

Those who have never been exposed to the principle that ‘time mastery is life mastery’ will never realize their enormous human potential. Time is the great leveller. Whether we are privileged or disadvantaged, whether we live in Texas or Tokyo, we all have been allotted days with only twenty-four hours. What separates those who build exceptional lives from the ‘also rans’ is the way they use this time.

Time mastery allows you more time to do the things you love to do, the things that are truly meaningful to you. Time mastery leads to life mastery. Guard time well. Remember, it’s a non-renewable resource.

Learning 666 “Repairing the boat hole.”

A man was asked to paint a boat.

He brought with him paint and brushes and began to paint the boat a bright red, as the owner asked him.

While painting, he noticed that there was a small hole in the hull, and quietly repaired it.

When finished painting, he received his money and left.

The next day, the owner of the boat came to the painter and presented him with a nice cheque, much higher than the payment for painting.
The painter was surprised and said “You’ve already paid me for painting the boat Sir!”

“But this is not for the paint job. It’s for having repaired the hole in the boat.”

“Ah! But it was such a small service… certainly it’s not worth paying me such a high amount for something so insignificant.”

“My dear friend, you do not understand. Let me tell you what happened.

When I asked you to paint the boat, I forgot to mention about the hole.

When the boat dried, my kids took the boat and went on a fishing trip.

They did not know that there was a hole. I was not at home at that time.

When I returned and noticed they had taken the boat, I was desperate because I remembered that the boat had a hole.

Imagine my relief and joy when I saw them returning from fishing.

Then, I examined the boat and found that you had repaired the hole! You see, now, what you did? You saved the life of my children! I do not have enough money to pay your ‘small’ good deed.”

So, no matter who, when or how. Just continue to help, sustain, wipe tears, listen attentively and carefully repair all the ‘leaks’ you find, because you never know when one is in need of us or when God holds a pleasant surprise for us to be helpful and important to someone.

You may have repaired numerous ‘boat holes’ along the way… of several people without realizing how many lives you’ve saved.

*So let’s Keep up the Good work, no matter how small it may seem to be.*

Want to thank Everyone who Repaired my boat this year in every way like Good Wishes, Good thoughts, Love, Care & Prayers…
Thank you !

May God bless you always.

Thoughts  are  vital,  living things,  little  bundles of  energy,  if  you  will.

Most  people  don’t  give any  thought  to  the nature  of  their  thoughts  and  yet,  the  quality of your  thinking  determines  the  quality  of your  life.

Thoughts  are just  as  much  a  part  of  the material  world  as  the  lake  you  swim  in or the street  you  walk  on.  Weak  minds  lead  to weak  actions.

A strong,  disciplined  mind,  which  anyone  can cultivate  through  daily practice,  can  achieve miracles.

If  you  want  to  live  life  to  the  fullest, care  for your  thoughts  as  you  would  your  most prized  possessions.

Work  hard  to  remove  all  inner  turbulence. The  rewards  will  be abundant.

Learning 656

The  secret  of  happiness  is  simple:  find  out what you truly  love to do and then direct all of your energy towards doing it.

If  you  study  the  happiest,  healthiest,  most  satisfied  people  of our  world,  you  will  see  that  each  and  every  one  of  them  has  found their  passion  in  life,  and  then  spent  their  days  pursuing  it.

This calling  is  almost  always  one  that,  in  some  way,  serves  others.  Once you  are  concentrating  your  mind  power  and  energy  on  a  pursuit that  you  love,  abundance  flows  into  your  life,  and  all  your  desires are  fulfilled  with  ease  and  grace.”

“So  simply  figure  out  what  turns  you  on  and  then  do  it?”

Victor  Frankl  said  it  more  elegantly  when  he  wrote:  ‘Success,  like  happiness,  cannot  be pursued.  It  must  ensue.  And  it  only  does  so  as  the  unintended  side effect  of  one’s  personal  dedication  to  a  cause  greater  than  oneself.’

Once  you  find  out  what  your  life’s  work  is,  your  world  will  come alive.  You  will  wake  up  every  morning  with  a  limitless  reservoir  of energy  and  enthusiasm.

All  your  thoughts  will  be  focused  on  your definite  objective.  You  won’t  have  time  to  waste  time.

Valuable mental  power  will,  therefore,  not  be  wasted  on  trifling  thoughts. You  will  automatically  erase  the  worry  habit  and  become  far  more effective  and  productive.

Interestingly,  you  will  also  have  a  deep sense  of  inner  harmony,  as  if  you  are  somehow  being  guided  to realize  your  mission.  It  is  a  wonderful  feeling.

Learning 653

The  Chinese  character  for ‘crisis’  is  comprised  of  two  sub-characters:  one  that  spells  ‘danger’ and  another  that  spells  ‘opportunity.’  I  guess  that  even  the  ancient Chinese  knew  that  there  is  a  bright  side  to  the  darkest circumstance  —  if  you  have  the  courage  to  look  for  it.

There  are  no  mistakes  in  life, only lessons.  There  is  no  such  thing  as  a  negative  experience,  only opportunities  to  grow,  learn  and  advance  along  the  road  of  selfmastery.  From  struggle  comes  strength.  Even  pain  can  be  a wonderful  teacher.

Absolutely.  To  transcend  pain,  you  must  first  experience  it.  Or to  put  it  another  way,  how  can  you  really  know  the  joy  of  being  on the  summit  of  the  mountain  unless  you  have  first  visited  the  lowest valley.

“To  savor  the  good  one  must  know  the  bad?”

I never found the companion that was so companiable as solitude. – Heney David Thoreau

The biggest lesson is “What the soul needs doesn’t cost a dime.”

Instead, a good rule of thumb to live by is to cultivate simplicity. Sell what you don’t need, as this is sure to help you nurture your intellect.

Be ambitious and move with confidence toward your dreams.

Don’t assume your dreams are out of reach just because they might seem too ambitious or uncommon to someone else.

Progress is made by those with ambitious ideas, so shoot for the stars and get to work on building the foundation that will allow you to turn that dream into a reality. Once you reach that goal, you’ll find the success is even better than you imagined.

“IF IT’S ON THE CALENDER, IT HAPPENS.” – Gretchen Rubin

The strategy of scheduling is one of the most familiar and powerful strategies of habit formation. It also forces us to confront the natural limits of the day. Scheduling one activity makes that time unavailable for anything else. It makes activities automatic, which builds habits.

“All our life, so far as it has definite form, is but a mass of habits – practical, emotional, and intellectual – systematically organized for our weal or woe, and bearing us irresistibly toward our destiny.” – William James

One of the great success tactics of the elite performers is that they make the time for renewal.

Each day is not the game day for an elite athelete, for example they have their game days but they have their days when they renew, recharge and think about how they can get better. Work with trainers, watch tapes of past games and spend a lot of time thinking.

You are an elite player not only in your business but in life. Do you spend enough time being thoughtful and strategizing about the life you want to create?

Live for something more important than yourself. Lasting happiness can only come from what we give to the World and those around us as opposed to what we receive.

It’s all about living for a cause greater than yourself.
